Q: Would you be prepared to receive a donated organ if your life depended on it?
Q: If so, then would you also be prepared to give one when you die?
In Australia, regardless of what you want to donate from your body when you die, your family has ultimate vito rights, and must give their consent before it can happen. How can they be confident it's what you want if you haven't told them?
Did you know that about 80% of Australians say they believe that organ donorship is important, but less than 40% say they have told their families about their donorhsip wishes.
Here is the link to the Australian Organ Donorship Registry, but registering doesn't matter a sod if you don't tell your family.
